Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956, is the name of a British Canadian actor from Canada. Best known for the character of Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series for which she received nominations for five Emmy Awards as well as four Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the best supporting actor. She reprised her role as the lead for Sex and the City 2: Sex and the City (2008 and Sex and the City 2) (2010) films. Her leading roles include Police Academy, Big Trouble from Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the'80s. Kim Cattrall comes to mind whenever you think of her character Samantha Jones on the hit HBO television series Sex & the City. Cattrall has earned a reputation for herself as an actor. Her portrayal in the role of Samantha Jones was one of the most recognizable roles she played.
